Our wider Software team develops software applications in the Aerospace, Rail, Automotive and Energy sectors. You will work on a range of projects, specifying, developing, and validating software.

Responsibilities
1. Responsible for adapting test specifications from previous model year projects, writing new test specifications, and test scripts for the system requirements.
2. Perform Vehicle integration testing, calibration, including test design, analysis, reporting, and issue management.
3. Develop test methodology against system requirements, test automation, execution, and reporting.
4. Setup test environment
5. Development of automated test cases, including the capability of fault insertion and diagnostic in support of system integration and verification
6. Monitoring and reviewing test and validation timing
7. Problem investigation and resolution
Qualifications Experience and Skills
8. Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 5+ years of automotive industry experience.
9. Experience in Body, Chassis, Thermal, Power train, ADAS, OTA and Infotainment systems.
10. Strong knowledge of using vehicle instrumentation, data acquisition, calibration, and diagnostic equipment.
11. Hands-on experience with tools like CANalyzer, CANoe, and diagnostic tools
12. Experience in diagnostic protocols (ISO14229, J1939)
13. Relevant project experience, ideally in an automotive or engineering industry and an agile project environment.
14. Experience in manual & automation testing for embedded controls products.
15. Experience working within a Product Development Process or with an OEM development process.
16. Strong communication skills
17. Ability to drive and complete tasks independently, task-oriented and high attention to detail.
18. Ability to work in a complex and ambiguous environment.
19. Positive and passionate, good team player, proven record of leading and mentoring junior team members.
20. Driving license and vehicle required.
21. HGV license would be advantageous but not mandatory.
