Salary: £41,771 -£47,180

Are you an experienced and dynamic operations professional looking to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary academy for a strategic and hands-on Operations Manager to lead and manage all aspects of operational support across the school.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic leadership of site operations including premises, health & safety, ICT, catering, HR, and administration.
Budget management and procurement oversight.
Line management of operational staff across multiple departments.
Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and trust-wide policies.
Project management of capital works and maintenance.
Oversight of the Single Central Record and operational systems.
Liaison with external contractors, community partners, and central trust teams.Ideal Candidate:
Holds a relevant degree and professional management qualification (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in operational leadership within a school or business environment.
Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and safeguarding practices.
Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills.
Able to lead and motivate teams, manage multiple projects, and drive continuous improvement.Additional Requirements:
Enhanced DBS clearance required.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
