Document Controller
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Document Controller to join a leading UK contractor on a high-profile construction scheme. This is a permanent position offering long-term stability, a strong pipeline of work, and the chance to play a key role in a well-supported project delivery team.
The Role:
As the project’s dedicated Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing all project documentation throughout the lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, version control, and compliance with quality standards. You’ll be embedded within the site team, supporting both office-based and operational staff.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and maintain document control systems (Viewpoint, Asite, etc.)
*
Manage uploading, tracking, and distribution of drawings and documentation
*
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure documentation flow
*
Maintain document trackers, RFI logs, and drawing registers
*
Ensure compliance with QA procedures and file naming conventions
*
Support project team with admin and filing duties where required
Requirements:
*
Previous experience as a Document Controller in construction
*
Strong knowledge of document control systems (ideally Viewpoint, Asite, or similar)
*
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*
Confident working within a fast-paced site environment
*
Strong communication and team coordination abilities
Salary & Benefits:

Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
