The Operations team sits at the heart of King’s Digital: We work closely with central teams across King’s, external partners and our own production and student support department within King’s Digital. We want to provide excellent service to all of our stakeholders, allowing them to work more efficiently. About the Role This is a new post in the Operations team, reporting directly to the Head of Operations and Strategy. This post will line manage the Business Support Officer as well as the Executive Assistant to the Directors. The purpose of the role is to support the Head of Operations and Director of Operations to balance the academic, business and financial objectives of King’s Digital and to achieve our strategic and operational aims. The post holder will work across a wide variety of subjects, from HR to finance to Health & Safety. Knowledge of all these topics is a must, as this post will work closely with line managers across King’s Digital to ensure processes are followed. This is a full time post, and you will be offered an a fixed term contract until 31 July 2025. About You Essential Criteria Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience in operations, project management or business support administration. Highly numerate and literate with strong attention to detail; and adept at understanding, analysing and presenting complex data to a wide-ranging audience. Experience of managing large complex budgets and monitoring and acting on financial performance. Experience growing, leading and managing individuals and / or teams. Excellent communication skills, including ability to draft policy and process, present confidently in a variety of formats and to a wide variety of stakeholders. Excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise effectively and deliver work personally and through others to tight deadlines and within budget. Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to interact with and influence a wide variety of stakeholders. Commitment to continuous improvement and building an efficient and effective operational service.
