Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Minimum 30 hrs/week (typically 3–5 days). 6–12 hr shifts. Evenings & weekends. Peaks up to ~45 hrs in busy weeks.

Role snapshot
Keep our events kitchen spotless and service-ready, run a busy pot-wash during live service, and support chefs with simple prep. It's an enthusiastic, varied, hands-on job.
What you'll do
* Run the pot-wash efficiently during prep and live service.
* Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, floors, equipment and extraction; leave the kitchen clean after each event.
* Organise and restock crockery, cutlery, serving dishes and utensils; set up for events and assist with clear-down.
* Maintain dry stores, walk-in fridges/freezers (FIFO, date labels, temperature checks).
* Refill and manage cleaning stations/consumables; complete cleaning schedules and due-diligence records.
* Assist chefs with basic prep and simple food tasks to spec.
* Report maintenance issues; use equipment safely and follow lock-off procedures where needed.
* Follow COSHH, Food Safety, Allergen and Health & Safety rules.
* Provide support to other areas of the business as and when required, maintaining the same high standards.
