Kisharon Langdon has an exciting temporary opportunity (6 month secondment) for a People Administrator to help support the busy HR team based in Head Office. The People Administrator will provide effective and efficient confidential, comprehensive administrative support to the HR team as required. The postholder will be expected to offer an efficient, helpful and friendly point of contact for the HR department whilst promoting a professional approach. Reporting to the Assistant Director of HR the People Administrator will provide administrative support to the HR team but in particular to all recruitment administration activities ensuring compliance with appropriate policies, procedures and legislation. Key Tasks To provide confidential administrative support to the HR team in terms of dealing with general enquiries and establishing and maintaining office systems. Provide HR support to the Assistant Director HR and HR team in the implementation of key HR projects and initiatives. To work with the Recruitment Advisor to deliver a speedy, efficient, responsive and effective recruitment service. To liaise with applicants, managers and other (DBS, referees etc.) to undertake pre-employment checks required by Kisharon Langdon and escalate any concerns in a timely manner. About you Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications including, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Some experience working in a HR team. Basic understanding of employment law and recruitment legislation. Experience of dealing with people over the telephone. Excellent key board skills Experience of preparing letters, reports and presentations. Experience of attending meetings, taking minutes and distributing within appropriate timescales.
