Wintel Engineer Location: Stevenage – Office-based Contract Type: Permanent Interview Process: One-stage interview Join a dynamic team supporting a major defence client as a Wintel Engineer. This is an office-based role in Stevenage, ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge, great problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to service delivery. Key Responsibilities Act as a systems/product specialist, delivering technical support and implementing configuration changes. Follow change control processes to ensure verified and documented enhancements. Monitor performance metrics to improve service levels and proactively resolve issues. Support project delivery by implementing technical designs within your area of expertise. Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders to enhance service. Troubleshoot complex issues, escalate when needed, and analyse trends to prevent recurrence. Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Understand the client’s business needs and identify opportunities to improve service delivery. Stay updated with new technologies, products, and service techniques to enhance performance. Skills & Experience Required Solid experience in Wintel environments with deep understanding of systems integration.
