About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic and inclusive school in Widnes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting students across KS3 and KS4, with a particular focus on those with additional learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to students in mainstream and SEN settings
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
* Support pupils with emotional, behavioural, and learning difficulties
* Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school
* SEN experience highly desirable
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, CACHE, or equivalent)
