Position: Part-time Research Assistant in Data Science
The University of Lincoln is seeking to appoint a part-time Research Assistant in Data Science within the School of Agri-food Technology and Manufacturing (SAFTMan), part of the College of Health & Science. The ideal candidate will hold a BSc (MSc preferred) in a related field and demonstrate an excellent track record in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related areas. Experience in sustainable agriculture or agri-food production is desirable but not essential.
Key responsibilities include contributing to research projects under the guidance of the Principal Investigator and collaborating with team members. Strong mathematical and programming skills (e.g., Python) are required, along with experience working with modern software tools and environments such as GitHub, Docker, and Ubuntu.
