Position Overview:

Title: Key Account Manager (Sephora-Europe)

Location: London, UK (with occasional travel throughout Europe)

Type: Full-time

Brand Focus: Le Monde Gourmand (with future expansion into other Tru Fragrance & Beauty brands)

Reporting to: Vice President, International Business

Direct reports: Freelance Field Sales team

Compensation: Negotiable (based on experience)


Tru Fragrance & Beauty has ambitious plans for international expansion and the Le Monde Gourmand (LMG) x Sephora Europe partnership is a cornerstone of this. This role is one of three newly created positions dedicated to strengthening Tru’s partnership with Sephora and driving sustainable growth across Europe.


The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing, nurturing, and expanding Tru’s business partnership with Sephora in European markets. This pivotal role owns the commercial relationship, ensuring flawless execution of seasonal plans, new product launches, and in-store activations, while driving growth, profitability, and brand visibility. The KAM acts as the main point of contact between Tru and Sephora at the market and regional level. Initially, the role will focus on the LMG x Sephora partnership however it may extend to support other Tru brands as they launch in Sephora Europe.


Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Account Management

* Own the P&L for Sephora Europe
* Develop and execute comprehensive joint business plans which include a clear understanding of how LMG’s retail space and assortment will grow over time.
* Manage forecasting, orders, pricing, and order fulfillment to ensure on time product availability.
* Prioritize the support from Education & Marketing teams to ensure the investment is concentrated on the areas that will deliver the most effective results.


Business Development & Local Market Relationship Building

* Build strong relationships with Sephora’s European team and local market teams across category management, marketing and in-store events/training.
* Fully understand Sephora Europe’s operating model, including the dynamic between regional and local teams in order to leverage both central European initiatives and local market-specific opportunities (e.g. local promotions, secondary placements, events).


Reporting

* Analyze and report on sell-in and sell-out data, tracking KPIs.
* Generate insights on relevant market and competitor activity to inform central brand team.


Online sales

* Collaborate with Sephora’s online and e-commerce teams to optimize brand presence and secure incremental support for product launches and brand campaigns across their digital platforms.
* Ensure all brand marketing, social and PR activity is optimized to drive sales on Sephora.com


In-Store Excellence

* Coordinate implementation of new launches, marketing activations and merchandising updates, ensuring brand is displayed to the highest standards.
* Partner with Education, Training, Events Manager and Marketing Manager to support staff training, in-store events and new product launches.


Qualifications:

Experience:

* Minimum 4 years of experience in key account management or commercial roles within fragrance or beauty.
* Strong track record with major European retailers; previous multi-market Sephora account experience highly desirable.

Competencies:

* Exceptional relationship-builder with a collaborative, partnership-driven approach.
* Analytical and data-savvy; skilled at deriving insights from sales data, forecasts, and market trends.
* Strong negotiator and confident communicator. Able to operate at both market and head office level.
* Solutions-focused, adaptable, and able to manage ambiguity in a fast-paced, cross-cultural context.
* Highly organized, capable of managing multiple initiatives and seasonal demands.

Other Requirements:

* Willingness and ability to travel within Europe as needed (to Paris and other market hubs).
* Fluent English required; additional European languages are an advantage.
* Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for building brands internationally.
