St Helens Resilience Service is a service that has been developed through collaboration between Barnardo's and St Helens CCG, Public Health, Local Schools and Merseycare NHS Trust. The overall aim of the service is to improve the emotional wellbeing and resilience of secondary school aged young people living in St Helens by offering a range of therapeutic interventions in secondary schools, in GP surgeries and in the community. This is done through direct interventions with young people such as group work, drop-ins and individual interventions, and indirectly through their parents, and through training, resourcing and supporting health and education colleagues. We have an opportunity for a qualified Therapist to join our team, do you have significant experience of working in a trauma informed and responsive way? Are you qualified to mental health practitioner, with experience of working with young people who have complex emotional health and wellbeing needs?
