Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and deliver the month-end close process, including detailed review of key journals such as income and payroll accruals.
2. Take ownership of the company and Group balance sheet, ensuring all balance sheet reconciliations are completed monthly and reviewed thoroughly.
3. Lead the statutory audit and tax compliance processes, maintaining robust financial controls and procedures throughout the year.
4. Act as the key finance sponsor for Sage Intacct, driving continuous improvement through systemisation and automation to reduce the impact of high transaction volumes on team workload.
