Construction Project Manager
A successful, small construction consultancy based near Tonbridge in Kent is looking to add a Construction Project Manager to its experienced team.
This role would particularly suit a consultancy Construction Project Manager who lives within 45 minutes of Tonbridge, although there is no requirement to work from the office on a regular basis. Not only is there an option to work remotely most of the time, but the working week pattern is also 4.5 days rather than 5 (with no reduction in salary).
The role of the Construction Project Manager
You will be involved in a diverse array of sectors with an initial focus on residential projects ranging in value from modest to substantial. You will be able to perform a Construction Administration role, managing the full life cycle of projects:
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery of projects
Prepare Gantt charts, organisation charts, status reports and project execution plans
Manage project coordination and project reporting
Liaise, consult, and engage and manage external project teams appointed to each project including Architects, Engineers, and other design specialists.
Attend site inspections and site meetings
Attend and minute project meetings
Administer Contracts
Procure services and works on behalf of clients and projects
Support to junior member of the team and senior staff
The Construction Project Manager
The successful Construction Project Manager must have a degree in Construction Project Management or similar, and an absolute minimum of 1 years experience in Project Management in Construction within a consultancy environment:
Construction Project Management degree or similar
At least 1 years direct experience with a consultancy
Experience of residential projects
Live within 45 minutes commute of Tonbridge

£50,000 - £65,000 based on experience
