An opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic, ambitious company with offices near Imperial Wharf as an Operations Manager
Summary of Role:
The Operations Manager role will be responsible for managing the operational services of the company, ensuring efficient processes are maintained and client’s needs are met and managed. You will be crucial in overseeing and managing day to day operations of the company and ensuring that business functions run smoothly and efficiently. This includes working closely with company directors, company departments, suppliers and clients to achieve company goals and deliver customers projects.
Typical Daily Tasks:
* Work with Directors, company departments and suppliers to efficiently deliver clients projects
* Assist Directors to assist with project timelines and update clients in a timely manner
* Monitor labour, subcontractors, plant, materials and suppliers
* Ensure best utilisation of subcontractors and suppliers for the efficient use of resources and maximise profitability
* Assist with resolving day to day operational issues as they arise
* Operational support for sub-contractors and suppliers as needed
* Assist with pre-contract and pre-arrival information to clients
* Supplier relationships - monitor status of secured projects with supply chain and update clients on lead times and / or installation dates.
* Feedback client responses to management regarding price, service, quality and any issues highlighted through discussions with clients or potential
The Candidate
* You will have worked in an operations executive/manager role within either the construction or logistics industries
* Minimum 2 years operational experience
* Exceptional interpersonal skills
* Problem solver with keen eye to detail
* Ability to get to their offices (Imperial Wharf) within an hours commute.
Location:
Monday – Friday based at their offices near Imperial Wharf Station
Remuneration:
* Salary of c£40,000
