Job Description
Based at William Wallace House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar, you will work full time 37 Hours per week.
Requirements
You will have a good general education including preferably National 5 (or equivalent) in English.
Responsibilities
To assist in the compilation and maintenance of the Valuation Roll and Council Tax Valuation List. To assist with the preparation of letters and documents as required and to deputise for the Word Processor Operator/Clerical Assistant on occasions of short absences through annual leave and illness.
The Individual
Experience in the use of word processing packages and accurate key board skills are essential. Effective communication skills and telephone manner, good numeracy and literacy skills as well as the ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced office environment. You will be able to work on your own or as part of a team, work to deadlines and deal with enquiries from the public. As this post requires a Basic Disclosure, a satisfactory response from Disclosure Scotland is necessary.
