Hearyou Counselling is a mental-health service platform that connects clients with experienced ethnic counsellors across the UK. We provide both online and offline therapy sessions in clients' native languages, supporting diverse communities with professional counselling services. Our counsellors are certified by national institutions such as BACP and COSCA, and our therapeutic approaches include psychoanalysis, Person-Centred, CBT, and more.
We are looking for a creative and data-driven Social Media Manager to join our team and take charge of our digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and client acquisition.
* Manage day-to-day operations of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Xiaohongshu, WeChat, TikTok).
* Create, edit, and publish high-quality content (text, graphics, video, live sessions) tailored to mental health awareness and counselling services.
* Collaborate with counsellors and marketing team to produce culturally relevant and sensitive content.
* Monitor, analyse, and report on social media performance metrics, adjusting strategies for continuous improvement.
* Stay up-to-date with digital trends, mental health campaigns, and community engagement best practices.
* Manage online community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and enquiries promptly and empathetically.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
* Proven experience in managing social media platforms, preferably in healthcare, education, or wellness industries.
* Strong content creation skills (copywriting, visual design, video editing).
* Familiarity with both Western and Asian (esp. Chinese) social media platforms is a strong plus.
* Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in another language Mandarin is highly desirable.
* Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and deliver results under deadlines.
* Sensitivity and understanding of mental health topics, with a commitment to ethical communication.

Pay: £23,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
