Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Lifting Equipment Inspector (Supervisory Role) at Rigging Team, located in Stevenage. The Lifting Equipment Inspector will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and certification of lifting equipment, ensuring all equipment meets safety and regulatory standards. They will also supervise a team of inspectors, provide guidance, conduct training, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Daily tasks will include performing detailed inspections, documenting findings, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications
* Experience in lifting equipment inspection and maintenance, ideally within the event rigging and entertainment industry
* Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
* Supervisory skills and experience in leading a team
* Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
* Ability to conduct training and provide guidance to team members
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
* Relevant LEEA qualifications (or equivalent recognised certification)
