The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites in a safe and efficient manner.
*Responsibilities: *
* Operate and drive loading shovel & dump trucks to transport materials such as soil, gravel, rocks, or sand to and from construction sites
* Follow safety regulations and traffic laws at all times
* Inspect trucks before and after each trip to ensure roadworthiness
* Secure loads properly to prevent spillage or shifting during transit
* Maintain cleanliness of the truck and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor
* Adhere to delivery schedules and deadlines
*Skills: *
* Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver
* Valid Class C driving licence with a clean driving record
* Ability to drive and operate a dump truck efficiently
* Knowledge of flatbed trucks and their operation
* Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
