Apply for the Assistant Site Manager role at Barratt Redrow.
Within the construction environment, you will manage materials, large projects, health and safety and customer service across approximately 400 developments in the UK.
What you’ll be doing?
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will assist in managing site progress, ensuring programme, quality and cost targets are met, and effectively leading the site team and subcontractors.
* Support the Site Manager in coordinating trades, direct labour and materials to meet the production programme.
* Work with the Sales Team, ensuring regular Sales/Build meetings are attended and procedures are followed, and inspections of show homes are carried out.
* Accept responsibilities as delegated by the Site Manager, including deputising when required.
* Ensure the on‑site construction team is fully resourced, well‑directed and supported in training, development and workload organisation.
* Deliver excellent customer service to customers in line with company guidelines.
What You’ll Need
* Experience working within established build programmes.
* Assertiveness to ensure delivery of targets by the on‑site team and trades/labour.
* Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
* A member of the Chartered Institute of Builders and/or NVQ level in Construction Management, or a trade‑serviced professional with extensive experience of construction trades.
* In‑depth knowledge of construction trade, legislation (Health and Safety, NHBC, Building Regulations).
* Good knowledge of customer service issues.
