Healthcare Support Worker - Maternity, Women & Childrens Services B2 at NHS Scotland
The post is a full-time role based in Glasgow, within the Maternity Ultrasound department. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm. The post holder will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care in line with Health Board policies, departmental policies, Health and Safety, data protection and confidentiality regulations.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality, safe and supportive environment to care for patients within the Maternity Ultrasound department under supervision.
* Carry out clerical duties including reception duties, data input, record management, arranging appointments and chaperoning; provide information and support for patients as required.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver the highest level of care.
Qualifications and Skills
* Essential: good organisational and communication skills with the ability to work within a team.
* Desirable: previous experience in a healthcare environment and experience with Trakcare.
* Full-time post of 37 hours per week; membership of Disclosure Scotland's PVG is required.
