We have an exciting role on offer within our Aspire team as a Social Worker.
About Us
We are looking to recruit an experienced social worker within our ASPIRE team who support children experiencing exploitation.
To help us recruit social workers who are committed to working in Middlesbrough we are currently offering a 15% supplement to social work salaries. This additional 15% will be reviewed at the end of March 2027.
You will benefit from a reduced caseload to allow you the time to support children intensively to reduce the risk of further exploitation and provide diversionary activities and interventions to support progression of the child's plan.
The postholder will need to have experience in supporting children subject to Child in Need, Child Protection and CLA care plans, and have experience in court work, in particular care proceedings, DoLS and Secure applications.
The overall aim of the role, is to reduce exploitation risks, provide intensive support to children and their families and prevent the need for high level court restrictions and the need for care.
