About This Role
Hours of work: 16
* Working pattern: Monday - Friday (starting each day at 3.15pm)
* Term weeks: 38 + 2 weeks school closure, minimum paid weeks 45.797
Duties
William Howard School is a school very much at the heart of the local community it serves. It has a long and proud tradition of educating and inspiring the children of our local surrounding area. We are seeking to employ a cleaner to undertake the following duties:
* General cleaning duties will include vacuuming, floor mopping, dusting, emptying bins etc.
* Ensuring that areas are cleaned regularly and to the highest standards at all times
* Maintaining health and safety standards and complying with relevant risk assessments
* Ensuring equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly
The Successful Candidate Will
* Awareness of Health & Hygiene procedures
* Willingness to attend and participate in training
* Able to identify own training needs and co-operate with means to address these
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to relate well to children
