The role:
Superior Healthcare provides round-the-clock care packages to support people including children, young people and adults living with long-term health conditions to live in the comfort and safety of their own home.
We are currently recruiting for a client who resides in the lovely town of Faversham. Our client is male, aged between 20-22 and has a diagnosis of Dravet Syndrome, Osteoporosis with corrective surgery for postural scoliosis and Developmental Delays. Experience of supporting clients with epilepsy, spinal surgery and clients who lack capacity and may display behaviours of concern is desirable but full training and clinical support will be provided. Our client is a busy young man who enjoys plenty of different activities to keep him engaged, therefore applicants should be prepared to have a busy and varied shift and participate in activities such as reading, writing, puzzles, playing with toys, role play and many more, previous experience of TA work in schools or paediatric care work would be an added advantage.
For this particular vacancy we are seeking confident manual drivers who have a Full Manual Clean Driving License due to driving and assisting the client to college on specific days in the week, this gentleman also requires care team members to be compassionate and show understanding of how he processes information and communicates his needs.
