First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a renowned International Defence company, seeking a Training and Development Specialist for a permanent position based at their Christchurch depot.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop training design documentation, including:
* Formal Training Statements (FTSs)
* Individual and collective Training Objectives (TOs/CTOs)
* Enabling Objectives (EOs/CTEOs)
* Key Learning Points (KLPs)
* Assessment Strategy (AStrat)
* Assessment Specification (ASpec)
* Methods and Media (M&M)
* Learning Scalar (LScalar)
* Learning Specifications (LSpecs)
1. Create training materials and courseware aligned with JSP822 and other relevant standards, including presentations, workbooks, tutorials, instructor guides, manuals, audio-visual aids, online courses, and quick reference guides.
2. Deliver instructor-led training, including testing through pilot courses and conducting additional training for testing and trials in collaboration with engineering teams.
3. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Ability to instruct Phase 3 trainees in Communications and Information Systems (CIS).
* Experience operating and configuring a range of CIS equipment.
* Ability to develop CIS training programs.
* Understanding of Royal Signals and RAF Communications Systems, including career paths and course content.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with Army and civilian colleagues.
* Proficiency in IT (hardware/software) with ECDL or equivalent qualification.

* Salary: £45,027 per annum
* Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours/week
