Opportunity: Senior Design Consultant (Learning & Development)
We are excited to offer a role for a talented individual to join our Audit Stream L&D team, focusing on developing our curriculum with innovative learning technology. This role is suitable for those with instructional design experience or a technology background interested in learning and development. The position reports to the Innovation and Technology team leader and is part of our Learning Development team led by the Development and Monitoring Lead (DAM).
Team Overview
The Learning Development team consists of learning designers responsible for creating impactful content for the Audit programme. The Innovation and Technology team supports this by introducing the latest thinking, tools, and technology, including digital learning, video editing, and adapting in-person sessions for remote access.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the design and development of programmatic content using the latest learning theories and technology.
2. Build and maintain relationships with content SMEs.
3. Design, curate, and create content for the Audit curriculum, collaborating with the authoring team.
4. Coach team members on tools, technology, and instructional design.
5. Work with Lead Authors on content development, ensuring a coordinated approach leveraging the latest design thinking and technology.
6. Introduce innovative learning solutions, including digital content creation using tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Required Skills and Experience
* Background in program development or content design.
* Experience in transforming face-to-face learning into engaging digital formats.
* Ability to translate learning needs into objectives and outcomes.
* Experience with video production and editing (e.g., Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects).
* Experience in creating eLearning content with Articulate tools (preferred but not essential).
* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud or similar.
* Attention to detail and understanding of branding and design parameters.
* Strong written communication skills and ability to present technical concepts engagingly.
* Excellent project management skills and ownership of projects.
* Commitment to operational excellence and quality.
