Job Description
We are looking for a Business Reporting Intern to support our team in analysing key performance metrics, generating insights, and assisting in data-driven decision-making processes. This role provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business reporting, working with large datasets, and learning best practices in data visualization and analytics. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to develop skills in data analysis and reporting within the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analysing business performance data using Excel and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI).
2. Support the team in building and maintaining reports to visualize key metrics and trends.
3. Contribute to data transformation and interpretation, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting.
4. Help automate reporting processes and improve data visualization techniques for better insights.
5. Collaborate with various departments to gather and consolidate business data for analysis.
6. Support ad hoc analysis requests and contribute to presentations for senior stakeholders.
7. Learn and work with Snowflake (if applicable) for database management and querying.

Qualifications
8. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Data Analysis).
9. Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
10. Experience with Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
11. Familiarity with SQL or Snowflake is a plus.
12. Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
13. Ability to work with large datasets and synthesize insights.
14. Eager to learn and adaptable to a fast-paced environment .
15. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team setting.
16. Ability to shift between high-level strategic analysis and granular data exploration, providing insights at both macro and micro levels.
17. Knowledge of the hospitality or travel industry is a strong plus, with an understanding of key business performance metrics.
