Chesterfield
£35,000 – £40,000 + company van & fuel card
Neos Engineering are partnered with a growing specialist in infrastructure solutions who are looking for an experienced Plant Fitter to join their close-knit team of engineers. This hybrid role offers the best of both worlds — working 3–4 days in a well-equipped Chesterfield workshop and 1–2 days out in the field, carrying out service and repair on specialist drilling equipment and heavy plant machinery.
The Role
Carry out maintenance and repair on drilling rigs, excavators, telehandlers, and power packs
Perform hydraulic and electrical fault-finding and repair
Undertake independent field service work, delivering high standards on-site
Support workshop colleagues with scheduled maintenance and breakdowns
The Candidate
Strong background in hydraulics and electrics (essential)
Experience working with plant or drilling equipment
Full UK driving licence
Confident working independently, both in the workshop and on-site
The Benefits
£35,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)

Monday to Friday, 8am–4:30pm (40-hour week, breaks included)
