Have you been active installing into the AV, Satellite or Networking market? If you know your HDMI from your Optical, are comfortable finding your way around a PC/Laptop, looking for a rare chance to join an established team forming part of global operations - and you reside in, or within easy reach of Bristol– we want to hear from you… We are looking for field technicians; The ideal candidate will have a wide-ranging technical skill set based around installation and fault finding of domestic networking, software and AV equipment. They will also have a clean, current, driving licence and be flexible on working hours and days as the role requires some evening and weekend shifts. We provide a non liveried company car, tools and laptop etc. The technician will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the data from the metering equipment and software in panel homes in the above areas. We would also consider a background in commercial installation and support of video conferencing and multiroom installations. Key Job Role Requirements What You’ll Bring Strong technical ability, especially with A/V setups (SCART, RGB, Composite, HDMI). Confident working with home networking, routers, Windows PCs, Macs, iOS and Android. Comfortable installing bespoke software and handling general hardware/software setups. Experience with domestic A/V installations; electronics or TV-servicing qualifications are a plus. Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills—you're the face of Kantar. Work flexibly across the UK, including some weekends and occasional overnight stays; a company car is provided. What You Need A full UK driving licence (max 3 points) company vehicle provided. Willingness to travel and work flexibly. CRB check documentation. What the Job Involves Install, service, and safely manage TV metering equipment and software in panel homes across the UK. Scheduling some of your own appointments and completing visits promptly. Educate panel members on proper use and care of all equipment and software. Remove equipment and software from homes leaving the panel. Troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalating when necessary. Act as a liaison between Kantar teams and panel members. Accurately report appointments, visits, mileage, and all field activity. Return faulty equipment promptly and maintain the company vehicle to a high standard. Meet all Service Level Agreements within required timeframes. Ability to work remotely, unsupervised, and deliver high-quality results. Country United Kingdom Why join Kantar Media?
