 
        
        Internal Sales Executive – Electrical measurement technology
Location: Skelmersdale
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE up to 5% performance related bonus, company benefits
Working Hours – Monday to Thursday (office based) Friday - WFH
The Company
Our client specialises in the design, development and manufacturing of electrical measuring and testing technology. Delivering high-quality solutions to customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand and compliment their Sales team.
The Role
This exciting brand-new role as an Inside Sales Executive is a crucial addition to the sales team. Your role will involve supporting two Sales Managers engaging with potential customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the sales process, recommending and identifying products best suited to the customer’s needs.
Key Responsibilities
 * Handling and qualifying new inbound leads via phone, email, and online inquiries
 * Engaging with prospective customers, identifying their needs, and presenting tailored solutions
 * Managing the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring sales targets are met
 * Maintaining detailed customer interaction records in the CRM system
 * Provide excellent pre-sale and after sale care and advice
 * Liaising with Production department regarding orders, timelines etc
 * Providing regular reports on sales performance, lead conversion rates, and customer feedback
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual who thrives in a sales role. You should be comfortable handling inbound leads, building rapport with potential customers, and driving sales conversions through a consultative approach.
 * Proven experience in an inside sales role, ideally handling inbound leads
 * Must have a genuine interest in electronic, knowledge or previous experience in order to advise and recommend to customers and convert to revenue
 * Strong customer engagement skills with a consultative sales approach
 * Strong social media & AI awareness for campaigning
 * Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
 * Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, and the ability to deliver tailor made solutions
 * Qualified in and appropriate field – i.e. Electrics, Electronical engineering, renewables, power systems – a sector that requires electrical measurement hardware
 * A keen interest/knowledge of the electrical industry and electrical sensors
