Job Description
We are we are working with a leading development and training organisation to find a LMS Manager.
As the LMS Manager, you'll be the expert for our Learning Management System, ensuring its smooth operation and user-centric approach. You'll handle day-to-day administration, boost user engagement, and oversee technical projects, shaping our stakeholders' digital experience.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day administration of the LMS, including tasks like user management and ensuring platform stability.
* Take the lead on technical projects and contribute to the ongoing development of the LMS platform.
* Aid in the maintenance and advancement of future integrations with the LMS.
* Enhance user engagement through insights gained from analytics and by implementing training initiatives.
* Develop and uphold standard operating procedures for the management of the LMS.
* Ensure compliance with data protection legislation.
* Offer technical support and maintain relationships with LMS suppliers.
* Provide support to team members in understanding and utilising the LMS.
* Collaborate on additional projects within the DDaT team as required.
Requirements
* Experience in LMS administration and user management
* Excellent organizational skills, demonstrating strong planning abilities
* Proficient in IT, particularly Microsoft Office
* Solution-oriented approach with effective communication skills
* Sound understanding of digital platform maintenance principles
* Proficiency in gathering and comprehending business and user requirements
* Capable of writing technical and procedural documentation
* Ability to analyse and interpret web analytics data
* Knowledgeable about GDPR and data protection principles
* Familiarity with digital development environments
