Your Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Front
Office Team at The Fife Arms as Front Office Host!
We
are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a similar level experience and a
passion for excellent hospitality and a desire to develop your skills whilst
under the mentorship of our Front Office Manager and the team.
As Front Office Host, you will be responsible for:
* Providing an exceptional guest experience from
check-in to check out
* Positively approaching sales opportunities in order
to maximise revenue
* Making informed recommendations based on in-depth
knowledge of the rooms and services of the hotel and using upselling techniques
at every appropriate opportunity
* Supporting a safe working environment by adhering to
Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, Fire and Evacuation procedures and Licensing
Laws
* Taking ownership of your personal development enhancing
your ability to build knowledge and make informed recommendations
* Ensuring a presence on the front desk
throughout the day
* Ensuring guests requests are delivered with
efficiency and effectivity
* Ensuring that public areas are maintained
clean, neat, and tidy
* Working cohesively with the management team to
achieve out shared goals
* Engaging with the Reception, Reservations, and
the Housekeeping team

Expectation
Our
successful Front Office Host will have:
* Proven experience from within a similar hospitality
environment
* Experience with Opera and Simphony
* The enthusiasm and willingness to learn
* A thorough understanding of Health & Safety and
COSHH
* Initiative, emotional
intelligence and strong communication and organisation skills
* The ability to work under
pressure
* A passion and ambition to
deliver exceptional experiences
* A willingness to work to the high standards that
are demanded from a luxury establishment
