We are seeking a highly organised and personable Salon Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our salon, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients. This part time position requires strong communication skills, a flair for upselling services, and the ability to manage front desk operations efficiently.
Responsibilities
* Greet clients warmly as they arrive at the salon, ensuring a positive first impression.
* Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, and cancellations with precision.
* Handle customer inquiries and provide information about services offered, including barbering an women's hair services.
* Assist in upselling salon services and products to enhance the client experience.
* Maintain an organised front desk area, ensuring all materials are stocked and readily available.
* Support the team with administrative tasks as needed, including managing client records and payments.
Experience
* Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles is essential.
* Familiarity with store management practices is advantageous.
* Experience in barbering or beauty treatments is preferred but not mandatory.
* Strong communication skills are vital for interacting effectively with clients and team members.
* A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to learn and grow within the role will be highly regarded
