Job Description Worth Recruiting – Property Industry Recruitment Job Title: PROPERTY MANAGER – Residential Lettings Location: Crystal Palace, SE19 Salary: £35,000 per annum Position: Permanent, Full-Time Reference: WR 75492 We are seeking an organised and experienced residential Property Manager to oversee an AST portfolio in the Crystal Palace area. You’ll handle tenancies, compliance, maintenance and landlord–tenant relationships within a busy lettings environment. A great opportunity for an experienced Property Manager to join a respected independent estate and lettings agency in Crystal Palace. You’ll manage all aspects of residential tenancies, ensuring legal compliance, effective communication and high service standards. The role suits someone calm under pressure, solutions-focused and confident in managing relationships with landlords, tenants, contractors and colleagues. What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities): Managing a portfolio of residential properties Handling day-to-day tenant and landlord enquiries Coordinating maintenance, repairs and contractor appointments Managing safety certificates, inspections and compliance requirements Issuing relevant notices, including Section 8 and Section 21 Ensuring adherence to lettings legislation and tenancy regulations Overseeing tenancy renewals, check-ins and check-outs Problem-solving and managing issues promptly and professionally Maintaining accurate records and documentation What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience): Previous residential property management experience Knowledge of Section 8 and Section 21 notices Strong understanding of ASTs, safety certificates and lettings legislation Excellent customer service skills Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills Confident communication and telephone manner Knowledge of the Crystal Palace / South East London area Willingness to work towards professional qualifications Full UK driving licence What's In It For You?
