We are seeking enthusiastic and creative Art and Creative Writing Supervisors to run after-school clubs at a primary school in Cheltenham. These roles offer the opportunity to inspire children to explore their creativity, develop artistic and writing skills, and enjoy expressing themselves in a supportive environment.
The Art Club and Creative Writing Club each run once a week for 1 hour (after-school, day(s) to be confirmed).
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and engage small groups of primary-aged children in art or creative writing activities.
* Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate sessions that develop creativity, imagination, and self-expression.
* Encourage confidence, curiosity, and enjoyment in children's activities.
* Maintain clear communication with parents and school staff regarding children's progress.
* Ensure the activity space, materials, and resources are safe, tidy, and ready for each session.
Experience & Skills
* Experience working with children in schools, clubs, or childcare settings.
* Ability to motivate and engage children in a structured yet fun environment.
* Strong English communication skills for working with children, parents, and school staff.
* Background in art, creative writing, teaching, or education is desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 2 per week
