Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace
* Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
* Assist in meal preparation for special events or large parties as required
* Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary
Experience
* Previous kitchen experience is essential, preferably in a restaurant setting
* Culinary experience or relevant qualifications are highly desirable
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
* Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations
* Experience in serving or front-of-house roles is an advantage but not mandatory
