Your new companyThis company are a growing IT services provider that has been around for decades and want to expand its already successful accounts team.Your new roleThis role will be looking after the management accounts for the company, including the following duties:
* Bank Reconciliation
* Cash allocation
* Short Term Cash Flow forecast
* Supplier Payments
* Responsible for VAT and UK Tax returns and carrying out reconciliations
* Liaising with HMRC
* Monthly Work in progress calculation and reporting
* Prepayments and Accruals
* Responsible for all Balance Sheets and ensuring Balance Sheet reconciliations are completed monthly
* Providing help with monthly consolidated management accounts
* Key player of the finance team, ensuring business goals are achieved and development ofkey processes
* To drive continuous improvement in the finance function with emphasis on controls and improvement of existing processes
* Bring in best in class process and controls
* Identify areas where the business can be more efficient and improve existing Purchase and Sales Ledger procedures
* Point of contact for Auditors and completion of statutory accounts
* Ensure compliance is up to date for HMRC and Companies House
* Help with future M&A
* Integrate newly acquired business
* Roll out of new ERP system (NetSuite)
* Work with relevant stakeholders on ad hoc tasks
* Back up for Payroll
* Payroll journals
What you'll need to succeedThey are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role and having started or finished your studies into management accounts.
