Working in Criminal Defence, you’ll play a key role in handling an engaging caseload of criminal matters, primarily involving RTA prosecutions. With hybrid working available from our Glasgow or Edinburgh offices – plus flexibility to suit candidates based elsewhere in Scotland – this is an opportunity to shape your career on your terms.
Responsibilities
* Managing a caseload of predominantly criminal defence (mainly RTA‑related) matters
* Contributing to civil personal injury defence cases where required
* Prioritising and organising work effectively to meet key court deadlines and client SLA expectations
* Building strong internal and external relationships to support business development and contribute to the Firm’s broader strategic goals

Essential Criteria
* 1+ years PQE, ideally within Criminal Defence
* Experience in civil defence work is beneficial but not essential
* Scottish Qualified
