This role is ideal for skilled professionals seeking flexible weekend work with competitive rates and accommodation provided. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert scrub support across a range of surgical procedures Prepare and maintain sterile fields in accordance with theatre protocols Assist surgeons during procedures, ensuring all instruments and equipment are available and functioning Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient operations Adhere to infection control, health and safety, and clinical governance standards Participate in stock control and equipment management within the theatre Requirements: NMC or HCPC registration (Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner) Proven scrub experience in General Surgery, Gynaecology (Gynae), and ENT Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures Excellent teamwork and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced theatre environment Availability to commit to weekend shifts What We Offer: Competitive pay rates of £28 - £32 per hour Flexible weekend-only working pattern Accommodation available for the duration of your placement Dedicated support from the Bluestones Medical team If you are an experienced Scrub Practitioner looking for consistent weekend work in a supportive environment, we would love to hear from you.
