Overview
This is a pivotal role within our Talent Development team, shaping the entire learner journey from programme design to delivery to ensure it is engaging, intuitive, and impactful. You’ll collaborate across our region and globally, sharing best practices and driving the implementation of international learning initiatives.
What you will do
* Drive and continuously improve the overall user experience to be intuitive, accessible, and engaging for our people.
* Oversee onboarding processes for new starters and those moving into new roles, aligning with our Employee Value Proposition (EVP); collaborate with the Employee Experience and HSEQ teams to ensure a seamless experience.
* Manage content on L&D intranet pages, curate content, and create learning journeys in the Learning Management System and other digital platforms.
* Support the L&D team with the adoption of learning technology into learning designs to deliver a holistic and engaging offering that supports career development.
* Coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of learning content, adopting agile and waterfall methodologies; manage the rollout of global digital training initiatives.
* Define and manage an efficient process for external training; ensure accurate recording in the LMS and work with Procurement to quality assess vendors for high-volume training.
* Line manage and develop the L&D Co-ordinator and Instructional Design Consultant to deliver digital priorities and provide seamless service to users of L&D.
* Gather and analyse Management Information (MI) from LMS and digital platforms to identify trends and opportunities to improve the learner experience.
What we are looking for you to demonstrate
* Proven track record of strategic and operational L&D delivery, including evaluating impact of initiatives.
* Experience in digital learning strategy, design and implementation.
* Knowledge of User Experience (UX) methods and practices applicable to learning experiences.
* Working knowledge of a global LMS (Oracle preferred).
* Ability to build trust and credibility as part of the leadership team, working cross-functionally to deliver commitments and drive results.
* Strong skills in gathering and using management information to enable data-driven learning needs analysis; ability to identify trends and deliver value-added solutions.
* Experience leading and collaborating with both in-person and virtual teams, contributing to a strong team culture across UK HR and senior leadership groups.
* Experience managing teams across multiple time zones with strong communication, coordination, and team cohesion.
