WR Hospitality Services is looking for a Front of House / Catering Assistant / Caterer / Ward Host to start in Wolverhampton.

Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic restaurant environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring smooth service, and supporting the overall operation of the venue. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous, but a positive attitude and strong customer service skills are essential. This paid position provides valuable experience in the food and beverage industry, with opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities

* Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and managing reservations efficiently
* Taking orders accurately and delivering food and beverages promptly
* Providing excellent guest services, addressing enquiries, and resolving any issues courteously
* Assisting with food safety and hygiene standards to ensure compliance with regulations
* Supporting food preparation tasks as needed, including basic garnishing or plating
* Upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
* Managing table settings, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness throughout service
* Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
* Handling cash transactions accurately and processing payments efficiently
* Promoting a friendly atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews

Experience

* Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
* Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
* Familiarity with serving procedures, guest services, and upselling strategies will be beneficial
* Strong organisational skills, including time management and multitasking abilities
* Good communication skills and a professional demeanour are essential for delivering exceptional guest experiences
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while providing outstanding service to guests.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 48 per week
