Business and Customer Support Assistant
Location: Angus
Contract: Temporary, Immediate Start – Until End of December 2025
Pay: £13.63 per hour
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Business and Customer Support Assistant to join our clients team in Angus on a temporary basis. This role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact by supporting key business functions, customer service delivery, and project administration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and organise diaries for two staff members.
2. Collate Freedom of Information (FOI) data, update systems (DASH), and prepare reports.
3. Monitor deadlines, chase late submissions, and distribute completed work.
4. Take accurate meeting minutes.
5. Support the organisation of events.
6. Provide excellent customer service across phone, face-to-face, and digital channels.
7. Connect customers to the right services and ensure they receive accurate, timely information.
8. Process customer requests in line with guidance, legislation, and policies.
9. Support continuous improvements in service delivery.
10. Format reports, letters, and mail merges.
11. Enter, process, and manage sensitive information securely in various systems.
12. Maintain filing systems (physical and electronic), including archiving and retrieval.
13. Process orders, invoices, cash, and payments in line with council protocols.
14. Record, reconcile, and maintain financial documentation.
15. Generate invoices and support recovery of outstanding funds.
16. Assist in project management tasks, documentation, and communication.
17. Collate and check data to provide insights for business decision-making.
18. Contribute to reviewing and improving processes for efficiency and customer focus.

Additional Information
33. This role may require working from different locations across Angus to support team needs.
34. On occasion, support for incident management outside normal working hours may be required.
