Experience in the support of vulnerable adults, homeless people, people with substance misuse, alcohol misuse and mental health issues is essential. Applicant must be able to complete tenant files and comprehensive support sessions.
SUPPORT:
* To work with service users according to the requirements of their support plan
* To review the implementation of all support plans
* To signpost clients to access relevant links and support services
* To maintain and develop constructive day-to-day contact with service users
* To provide social and emotional support to service users when required
* Via the Support Plan mechanism, to identify life and social skills deficits within the service user group and to work with service users accordingly
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT:
* To ensure that the physical environment in each of the service's houses is managed and maintained to an excellent standard on a day-to-day basis
* To assist service users in cleaning and undertaking basic maintenance within the properties
* To ensure the security of each property by assisting service users with the physical security and safety of their homes and the equipment they contain
* To advise the Maintenance Team of any maintenance requirement within the service properties
* To ensure supported housing management policy and procedure is correctly implemented
* To collect service charge from clients on a daily basis
* To ensure there is feedback given regarding service users who have left the property and to prep rooms for new service users to move into
* To Log Meter Readings
PAPERWORK:
* To maintain daily logs, support session records, service charge record and fire logs
* To undertake basic filing and organisation of service users paperwork
* To complete starter packs with service users and be able to explain documents such as the Licence Agreement, Nil income form, Authorisation form etc.
SKILLS:
* To have a good standard of verbal and written English
* To be able to communicate effectively
* Apply Strong organisational skills
* To be able to plan and manage effectively
* To work with complex cases including providing support when tenants are in crisis
