Role: User Researcher
Location: Newcastle
Hybrid Working: Please note - This role will require you to work from our Newcastle, Cobalt Business Park office 3 days per week.

As a User Researcher, you will work with a team of creative and passionate UX Design specialists responsible for creating user-centred designs for digital products and services.
This is a great opportunity to work across multiple clients in various industries. As part of our close-knit UX and Design team, you will champion the value of User-Centred Design across all products and services, ensuring delivery best practices.
As a User Researcher, you will:
* Lead planning, recruiting, and conducting user research sessions to support the design and development of digital client services and projects.
* Manage the research process from developing user recruitment briefs to conducting sessions remotely or face-to-face, analyzing sessions, writing reports, and presenting findings to your team and stakeholders.
* Align user research activities to influence and support decision-making.
* Collaborate with product owners and service managers to develop appropriate research strategies that generate focused insights.
* Create high-quality stimulus material from concepts and emerging findings.
* Work closely with designers and developers to translate user data and insights into actionable requirements that inform prototype development and influence product direction.
* Participate in Agile delivery teams, possessing the skills to contribute to design and delivery, identify client issues, and advocate for users.
* Collaborate with our UX & Design team to share knowledge, learn new skills, and design transformational services.
Job Qualifications
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
* Relevant experience as a User Researcher.
* Experience working as part of an Agile Scrum team.
* Comfort advocating for users and guiding teams and stakeholders through a user-centred design process.
* Some experience working with GDS standards would be beneficial.
