Your Responsibilities
As a Principal Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our Construction Engineering team, leading the delivery of complex construction engineering services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Defining and agreeing on technical requirements with clients, ensuring clarity and compliance
* Overseeing the production of design deliverables, including calculations, drawings, and risk assessments
* Building strong relationships with clients and project teams to exceed expectations
* Providing leadership and support to your team, ensuring compliance with Kier policies
* Staying updated on industry trends and promoting sustainable development
* Encouraging knowledge transfer and best practices within the team
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Are a Chartered member of a relevant professional institution (e.g., CEng MICE)
* Have significant experience in a similar role
Working Conditions
Location: Speke, Merseyside
Hours: 40 hours per week, with some flexibility available
