Construction Manager – High End Refurbishment Projects | Central London
A specialist refurbishment contractor delivering complex projects within a landmark Central London building is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Manager to oversee a series of high-profile refurbishment schemes.
These are not typical retail fit-out projects. Works involve significant redevelopment within a live operational environment and require careful sequencing of trades, tight logistics management and coordination of multiple specialist construction packages.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day construction delivery of complex refurbishment works within a highly restricted and operational building.
Key responsibilities include:

Coordinating multiple subcontract packages including demolition, structural alterations, stone, bespoke joinery, glazing and MEP services
*
Planning and managing logistics within a restricted central London site
*
Sequencing trades and managing phased programmes
*
Liaising with consultants, designers and client representatives
*
Managing quality control and finishing standards across high-end interior packages
*
Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with programme targets
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a Construction Manager or Senior Site Manager with experience delivering complex refurbishment or redevelopment projects within live buildings.
Relevant experience may include:

High-end commercial refurbishments
*
Luxury hospitality developments
*
Landmark building refurbishments
*
Airports, transport hubs or other operational environments
*
Major central London redevelopment projects
Candidates should be comfortable coordinating multiple trades and managing specialist finishes such as stone, metalwork, glazing and bespoke joinery.
