What We Do
Everyone has an idea of what a water company does. Here in Yorkshire, we ensure that over 5.4 million people living in the region and the millions of visitors each year can rely on our services, with clean and safe drinking water on tap, and wastewater properly managed. But for us, it’s so much more than this.
We look after communities, protect the environment, and plan to look after Yorkshire’s water, today and tomorrow, 24/7, 365 days a year. We provide essential water and wastewater services across the region and play a key role in the area’s health, wellbeing, and prosperity.
New environmental legislation, unprecedented investment levels, and changing customer expectations make this an exciting time to explore opportunities within the water industry. Major Projects DPC schemes are central to our strategy to meet these evolving needs.
Yorkshire Water’s Strategic Resources Options (SRO) function will deliver an ambitious programme of water resource supply-side solutions to meet company, regional, and national challenges.
