An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team on Aran ward within Ysbyty Gwynedd as a registered nurse.
Aran Ward is a busy 30-bedded, dynamic, and fast-paced ward specializing in gastroenterology, committed to delivering high-quality patient care. The nursing team is proactive, innovative, and possesses extensive knowledge in this specialist area. The ward collaborates with medical colleagues to support all acute medical care needs of our patients. We adopt a team-working approach to ensure safe practice, individualized care, and a positive patient experience.
Main duties of the job
* Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based nursing care, working collaboratively to meet patients' and their families' needs.
* Assist in managing and organizing the clinical area and participate in the education, development, and supervision of staff.
* Take responsibility for a ward or equivalent sphere of nursing, especially in the absence of the senior nurse or person with 24-hour responsibility.
* The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
