Responsibilities
* Prepare and teach on a range of Motor Vehicle Service topics, including PHEV, Electric Vehicle, MOT Test, Air Conditioning and Repair courses.
* Deliver teaching across Level 1 & 2 City and Guilds and Level 3 BTEC qualifications in the Technology/Engineering department.
* Work closely with the Programme Manager and Motor Vehicle Coordinator and the Engineering team to share knowledge and develop student outcomes; drive continuous improvement within the College.
* Act as a personal tutor, provide pastoral care, promote attendance, support students to secure work placements, participate in team meetings, and contribute to planning, development and review activities within your subject area.
Qualifications
* Level 3 or above (or equivalent) in a discipline related to Motor Vehicle Service and Repair.
* GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths.
* Minimum Level 3 Teaching qualification or a commitment to work towards it.
* Minimum 3 years industry experience.
* Up-to-date industry experience.
