The Boeing Company is seeking Real Time Software Engineers (Associate, Experienced, and Senior) to join the F/A-18 Mission Systems organization in Berkeley, MO. This position supports Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS).
Our Air Dominance software engineers design, develop, and demonstrate avionics solutions for our platforms, integrating innovative technologies to maintain battlefield dominance.

The successful candidate will support various capabilities across Weapons systems, Electronic Warfare, Displays, Vehicle Health Management, and more. We are hiring for all experience levels: Associate, Experienced, and Senior.
Responsibilities include:
* Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining non-embedded software throughout the lifecycle, adhering to industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards.
* Analyzing customer requirements and translating them into software designs. Developing, maintaining, and optimizing software products for system integration.
* Documenting architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs.
* Debugging and resolving software issues to ensure reliability and efficiency, handling user inquiries and feedback.
* Implementing current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory changes.
* Establishing and improving software processes, tools, and performance metrics.
* Planning, executing, and documenting research and development projects.
* Advising on software domains, system issues, processes, and regulations.
* Managing software projects and supplier relationships.
* Monitoring team and supplier performance to ensure compliance with plans and standards.
Security Clearance and Export Control: This role requires the ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Experience with C, C++, Java, Ada, and/or Python.
* At least 2 years of experience in software development projects utilizing various methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
* Experience working in an agile, collaborative environment with tools like Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence.
* Experience in languages such as C, C++, Java, Ada, and/or Python.
Additional Information:
* This position is for 1st shift, full-time employment.

* Pay ranges vary by experience level: Associate ($86,700 - $117,300), Experienced ($107,100 - $144,900), Senior ($127,500 - $172,500).
