The Pain Management Service provides a multi-disciplinary approach to support patients with chronic pain. The services are provided by Consultants, Specialist Nurses, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists, offering a broad range of therapeutic and holistic services. The service operates through one-to-one appointments, group seminars, and procedures performed within the Day Procedure Unit or at Cromer Hospital.
The clinic is based at Adelaide Street Health Centre, and interviews will take place there.
The admin team, comprising Receptionists and Medical Secretaries, works closely with the clinical team to deliver high-quality, patient-focused healthcare for Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital patients.
All staff are expected to act as role models and demonstrate NNUH’s ‘PRIDE’ values: People focused, Respect, Dedication, Integrity, and Excellence.
You will provide an effective reception service to the Pain Management Clinic at Adelaide Street Health Centre, greeting patients, checking them in, inputting outcome forms using PAS, creating and collating medical records, and handling complex patient queries involving the multidisciplinary team.
You will ensure outpatient appointments are booked according to target dates, demonstrating patience and teamwork, while supporting the delivery of a high-quality, safe, and compassionate healthcare service.
